FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN RAVENNA - ASAP START!

OUR FAMILY: We're a close, calm, curious household of three. Our (almost) 2-year-old son is cautiously adventurous and in the middle of a full-on word explosion. Dad works from home and mom is starting a new role in August. We’re screen-free, big on books, music (we love playing the piano for our son) and getting outdoors. We don't have family nearby, so whoever joins us becomes a trusted extension of our little team. We value warmth, open communication, and genuine respect for the person who cares for our kiddo. He absolutely loves books, is mildly obsessed with cars and deeply obsessed with planes, and lights up figuring things out with his hands, especially anything mechanical. He's a big fan of the outdoors, too. He's closely bonded to us and warms up at his own pace, so patience and warmth go a long way with him!

OUR HOME: Is a lovely townhome in Ravenna filled with music. We are a vegetarian household and keep a meat-free kitchen.

OUR GOALS: To give our son warm, engaged, screen-free days that follow his curiosity - books, planes, hands-on discovery, and lots of outdoors. We care most about someone who nurtures his language and love of learning, meets his big feelings with patience, and helps him feel secure as he bonds with a new caregiver. Ultimately we're looking for a trusted partner in raising him, not just supervision - someone who becomes part of how he grows.

OUR SONG: “You Got a Friend in Me” by Randy Newman (LOVE Toy Story!)

OUR NANNY: Someone warm, patient, and genuinely engaged - the kind of person who follows our son’s curiosity rather than just watching over him. We also want someone incredibly organized, who builds structure and rhythm that meets our son where he is and grows with him. Experienced and calm with toddlers, gentle through big feelings, and thoughtful about helping a closely-bonded little one feel secure with someone new. Reliable, communicative, and comfortable taking real ownership of his days. Above all, someone who feels like a trusted extension of our family - a partner in helping our son grow!

START DATE: ASAP!

SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm, with some flexibility needed for occasional evenings planned in advance.

HOURLY RATE: $35-38 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Your Choice, $200 Monthly Healthcare Stipend.

REQUIREMENTS:

FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN WOODINVILLE - AUGUST START

OUR FAMILY: We really value our downtime and try to fill it with social gatherings, trips to the museum/zoo, vacations, music, play, picnics, and any other joy-inspiring activities. Our philosophy has always been to take it easy with the little details of life so that we can enjoy the important things (family, health, happiness). We have three children. Our oldest daughter just turned four and our son will turn three in the fall. Both of them will start full-time Montessori school in September. Our family assistant will primarily be responsible for our five-month old daughter on a typical Mon-Fri schedule. However, help with getting the older children ready for school in the morning will be appreciated!

OUR HOME: Located in the Hollywood Hill neighborhood we are minutes away from the hustle and bustle of parks, restaurants, shopping, and the fabulous wine district! Our home has plenty of room for privacy and opportunities to play hide and seek. We are fairly tidy and organized as we understand the importance that has in the day-to-day motions of life. We also understand the natural mess that children can create in a home and want our children to have the freedom to be creative and explore as well. Dad will primarily be in his home office and would prefer to be able to dedicate his time at work. Mom is a physician who works part time. We hope to engage in positive parenting and encourage our children to gain independence and regulate their emotions.

OUR GOALS: First and foremost, ensuring our baby is safe, loved, and cared for and reaching her developmental milestones. We would also like to foster a loving relationship between our children. While the family assistant will have limited interaction with the older children who will be in school, we would like help getting them ready in the morning, and doing some school pickups.

OUR SONG: “Livin’ la Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin.

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Someone who is organized, punctual, professional, and reliable, but who is also outgoing and knows how to have fun. We would appreciate someone who has a growth mindset and is willing to be flexible and entertain spontaneous fun plans. We are hoping to find someone whose primary focus will be our daughter, with a slow (mutually agreed upon) ramping up of family assistant duties as her naps lengthen.

START DATE: 08/01/202. We are willing to wait a bit longer to find the perfect match, but ideally we would have someone by mid-August.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Mon/Tues: 7am-5pm, Wed: 7am-3pm, Thurs/Fri: 7am-1pm.

HOURLY RATE: $38-42 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, Paid Vacation, Healthcare Stipend.

OUR FAMILY: We are a kind family with a good sense of humor. We have a calm, structured approach to parenting. Our happy, curious baby girl is newly 1-year-old and so sweet! FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN BALLARD/PHINNEY - PENDING

OUR FAMILY: We're a family of four (plus one dog) that recently moved to Seattle and are still figuring out what "normal" looks like in the Pacific Northwest. We both work full-time and both travel for work occasionally, so flexibility, communication, and a good sense of humor are essential around here. Dad works in tech sales by day and moonlights as the family chef (and had a memorable run on tv), so food, cooking, and gathering around the table are a big part of our family culture. Mom works in tech as well, leading a team in a fast-paced role that includes travel, and somehow still keeps all of us moving in the same direction despite the chaos. At our best, we're warm, funny, adventurous, and very present with our kids. At our most chaotic, we're sprinting between evening activities, work calls, dance parties in the kitchen, and trying to remember where we unpacked the stuffies. Our 6-year-old is equal parts engineer, artist, athlete, and philosopher. He loves Legos, soccer, drawing, and asking questions that range from "What's 7 x 8?" to "How do black holes work?" He has a huge imagination, strong opinions, and genuinely loves learning new things. Our 3-year-old operates at two speeds: full sprint and completely asleep. She loves Gabby's Dollhouse, arts and crafts, drawing, dress-up, and generally keeping everyone on their toes. She's hilarious, affectionate, and very determined. Together, they're either best friends and co-conspirators or mortal enemies fighting over a marker cap. Sometimes both within the same five-minute period. They genuinely adore each other, but like most siblings, the energy level and dynamic can change by the hour. Our son attends full-time elementary school and our daughter is in preschool.

OUR HOME: Our home is in the Phinney Ridge/Ballard area that we're still very much settling into. We're big believers that everything should have a place, even if we're still figuring out where some of those places are. We have one old, extremely gentle dog whose primary responsibilities include supervising from the couch and accepting cuddles. Our house is kid-friendly, lived-in, and very much "come as you are." We don't expect perfection, we expect playtime to be messy and creative, but we do try to teach the kids to clean up after themselves and help take care of our shared spaces. There's almost always music playing somewhere in the house, and family dinner dance parties are a regular occurrence. Food is a big deal in our family. Dad does most of the cooking, and family meals together around the table are a priority whenever possible. We encourage our kids to try new foods, but we're not interested in turning dinner into a battle. Our rule is simple: everyone sits at the table together. We aren't perfect, but we strive to be calm, consistent, and supportive, and we'd love a caregiver who approaches difficult moments similarly.

OUR GOALS: Above all else, we're looking for consistency and trust. We want our children to have a steady, reliable adult in their lives who they feel safe with and excited to spend time with. We strongly believe that when we have dependable support, we get to show up as much more present, engaged parents ourselves. Having someone help keep the household rhythm moving smoothly doesn't replace parenting, it allows us to do more of it well. Long term, we'd love to find someone who grows into becoming a real part of our family's story rather than simply filling a temporary role.

OUR SONG: "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. It's energetic, slightly chaotic, optimistic, and somehow feels exactly like trying to get two kids out the door on a Saturday morning. Close seconds: "Good Day" by Nappy Roots and "Hit the Road Jack" by Ray Charles.

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Reliable, proactive, and consistent, those are probably the three most important qualities for us. We're looking for someone who sees what needs doing and jumps in without needing a lot of direction, while also bringing warmth, patience, and a sense of humor to the job. Someone who can stay calm during moments of chaos, is comfortable around an elderly dog, and understands that some days will run exactly according to plan while others absolutely won't. Most importantly, we'd love to find someone interested in building a genuine, long-term relationship with our family. Role duties will include: following routine as outlined by parents, family Errands, oversight of health and safety, family laundry, age-appropriate activities, transportation, outings to parks, classes, playdates, scheduling appointments, tidying common areas, calendar management, organization projects and preschool/school pickup and dropoff. We are hoping to find someone who can be available for one revolving date night a week and occasional overnights as we travel for work.

START DATE: ASAP, flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed. Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:00am–4:00pm, Wednesday: 1:00pm–9:00pm. We are hoping to find someone that can be flexible with scheduling, we will also work to find a rhythm that works for everyone!

HOURLY RATE: $36 - 40 per hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, Paid Vacation, $200 Monthly Healthcare Stipend.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 3+ years of recent professional nanny or family assistant experience with similar ages.
References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous long-term employers in a similar role.

FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN CENTRAL BELLEVUE - PENDING

OUR FAMILY: Is quiet but friendly! All three of us enjoy a relaxing day at home, reading together or doing arts and crafts, but we also love getting outdoors to hike and adventure as a family. The grown-ups have fairly demanding jobs (both physicians), so we like to keep things pretty laid back at home. Our daughter is 5-years-old, in full-time school during the school year and is the biggest joy in our life. She is sweet, creative, and curious, and we love having dance parties and being silly together!

OUR HOME: Welcoming and thoughtfully organized. Most of the craft supplies and toys are contained in the basement, but there are also two living room areas on the upper floors where we can read and relax. We live in a beautiful, green neighborhood with multiple parks nearby that we frequent. Our daughter also loves riding her bike around the street with the neighbor kids and playing in our backyard. We aim to have clear rules and try to validate emotions while holding firm boundaries.

OUR GOALS: Our biggest goal is to raise a child who is confident and compassionate, and we want to encourage her love of learning new things. We hope to find someone who can help foster her creativity and adventurous spirit during the hours she isn't at school, while also helping keep our home running smoothly.

OUR SONG: "Whoopsies" from Gabby's Dollhouse (or anything by Taylor Swift).

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Will be loving and warm. Someone who enjoys doing screen-free activities with our 5-year-old when she's not in school. Responsible, punctual, a very safe driver. Someone we can trust to keep our child safe while we are at work. The primary responsibilities will be child-related (school pick-up and drop-off, afterschool care, child laundry, being available for days that child is sick/does not have school) but during the weeks that our daughter has full-time school, we'd appreciate help with light errands/grocery shopping/tidying.
