Full Time Nanny | Household Manager | Family Assistant Jobs

FT NANNY/TEAMMATE NEEDED IN GREENLAKE FOR BRAND NEW BABY GIRL

  • WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our brand new baby girl! We also have a vivacious and outgoing 4-year-old daughter who has her own nanny.
  • OUR CHILDREN ARE: Our daughter is four weeks old and we are seeking a caregiver who can provide one on one care for her. Our eldest daughter goes to preschool daily and her nanny helps with household management during that time.
  • START DATE: 10/14
  • WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Someone who is energetic, loving and tender who has a can-do attitude, a passion in child development and strong problem-solving skills. A generous teacher who is eager to develop a weekly curriculum for our daughter and then plan adventures or activities that support that curriculum; eagerness to attend enrichment classes in the area when those restart. There are minimal household management responsibilities in the first year of this role, but over time, we anticipate that household management will increase in size/scope when our daughter becomes more independent. Our hope is that this candidate is open to that type of shift as part of their long-term commitment to the role.
  • OUR NANNY WILL BE: We are a family that is looking to ensure our children have deep engagement on a 1×1 level, so the best caretaker is one who is ready to be “on” during their time with our children. For us, this means bringing a variety of age-appropriate enrichment activities every day to ensure their day is full of new learning and enjoyment. Someone with at least 5 years of professional nanny experience, with extensive infant experience. Someone bilingual would be a huge plus! Someone who is in adherence to strict social distancing rules during COVID-19 pandemic. We treat our caretakers as team members and family members. We strive to have open communication, collaborative problem solving and enriching relationships with our caretakers. Often we look to our caretakers to help us form systems or approaches to give our children the best upbringing.
  • OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: During COVID, mom and dad are working from home. Our individual offices are located upstairs and away from key play areas in our home. We have minimal interaction during the day (~7 am – 5 pm), with the exception of lunch from 12 – 1 pm. Usually during lunch dad joins the mix for lunch and short playtime recess. Our current nanny will also be in the home to care for our oldest daughter, but she has a separate space.
  • OUR FAMILY IS: We are a very active family that simply enjoys spending time together. On weekends, we play outside as much as we can in any weather. We love walking to the zoo, Green Lake or the library. We also enjoy cooking and eating (and eating more). We do not have extended family in the area, so our nannies play an integral role as true family members.
  • FAMILY THEME SONG: “Life is a Highway” because our daughter is obsessed with Cars (even after only seeing the movie once!).
  • OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: Ensure our children have an enriching day while their parents are at work.
  • RATE: $32-34+ DOE with overtime after 40 hours.
  • SCHEDULE: (45 – 50 hours guaranteed each week) 6 am – 3/4 pm M-F OR 8/8:30 am – 5:30 pm M-F. We have a second nanny who will cover the opposing shift, and who will care for our 4-year old daughter when she is not in Pre-K from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm. The nanny will be primarily responsible for our infant for a vast majority of the day, but the caregiver will also care for our 4-year-old daughter, plus the infant for ~2 hours each day. This will take place either at the start of the day (6 – 8:30 am) or the end of the day (4 – 5:30 pm).
  • BENEFITS: Child Focused position, Family Vehicle Provided, Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, PTO, Healthcare Stipend
  • REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.
  • APPLY HERE: Include “Greenlake/Phinney Ridge” in the subject line.
FT NANNY NEEDED IN BLUE RIDGE/NORTH BEACH FOR TRAVELING TODDLER GIRL

  • WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our sixteen-month-old is a little traveler! We love to travel and she has caught the bug! She also loves to be outside and meet new people, cats (yaya’s) and dogs (woof woofs). She has discovered that the word “This” means she can save learning many other words.
  • OUR CHILD IS: She adores being around other kids! Loves love loves being outside, playing, reading, music, dance, tag. Generally energetic, but can also be very focused especially when working on motor skills. Loves tasty food and eats almost everything we eat. Likes variety in activities, is curious and loves to explore the physical world around her. We’re also encouraging her to play on her own so that she’s not used to getting 1-1 attention 100% of the time and can entertain herself.
  • START DATE: 10/2
  • WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We want a partner in helping us raise our daughter. We’re looking for a nanny that will be confident, but also flexible to work with our caregiving style. We’re not overly indulgent/permissive or authoritarian. We aim to be: reasonable and nurturing and set clear expectations. Disciplinary rules are clear and the reasons behind them are explained. Communication is frequent and appropriate to her level of understanding and we always give her a chance to express herself!
  • OUR NANNY WILL BE: Someone who can have a real bond, affection and warmth for our daughter. A lot of other things can be learned, but this needs to be a given. Someone who is responsive to our daughter’s needs (social, emotional, physical), proactive in coming up with activities but also genuinely will enjoy spending time with her. Nanny should be patient and calm, but also like to have fun. Strong work ethic is very important for us as is great communication. Safety and COVID precautions are also very important to us. Help with family laundry and dishes while she’s napping would be great!
  • OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Mom and dad will occasionally work from home. We would expect not to be involved too much, but will be around during lunch time. There will also be days when both of us will be in the office and not at home. Clean, organized (a work space now!), an aspiring chefs house. Chilled and when we can, a place where friends and family come and go. We love to entertain, but that’s clearly not an option right now. Not much TV (except for some Netflix at the end of the day), but often have music playing.
  • OUR FAMILY IS: Global! We both come from multicultural backgrounds and have traveled extensively.
  • FAMILY THEME SONG: Our daughter loves music and currently her fave right now is anything with a good beat she can dance to.
  • OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: We’re less concerned about hitting the development milestones early and more focused on raising a kind, self-aware, curious and engaged child who is learning to enjoy life and all that the world has to offer.
  • RATE: $27-30 DOE
  • SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed M-F 8:30-4:30. . Availability to stay later on some evenings would be great.
  • BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, PTO, Paid Federal Holidays, Healthcare Stipend Negotiable
  • REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.
  • APPLY HERE: Include “Blue Ridge” in the subject line.

FT MOTHER’S HELPER NEEDED FOR TWIN NEWBORN BABY GIRLS IN WOODINVILLE

  • WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our four-week-old twin baby girls!
  • OUR CHILDREN ARE: As of now the girls’ interests are eating, sleeping, wetting and soiling their diapers, and being snuggled.
  • START DATE: ASAP!
  • WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Someone who is nurturing and being hands on. Of course, this is typical for a newborn, but this is something that we find important when caring for our girls. Someone with extensive infant experience. Experience with multiples a plus!
  • OUR NANNY WILL BE: We are looking for someone who acts like an extension of our family. We need someone who is trustworthy, loyal, compassionate, treats our children like they would their own, treats our things as if it were theirs, someone who loves dogs and has experience with dogs. We also would like someone who is outgoing, who likes to have a good laugh!
  • OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Busy, busy, busy. But we like to have fun, joke, and laugh. After a long day, we really enjoy sitting down and watching our favorite shows.

Having someone who doesn’t mind hanging out with mom throughout the day is very important. Dad works outside of the home and has a schedule that can vary throughout the week or month. So, having someone who will also be okay with dad being home is great. Overall, we’re a pretty laid back family who are very close, with lives that are very busy.
  • FAMILY THEME SONG: “Quando, quando, quando” by Engelbert Humperdinck
  • RATE: $30-33 DOE

FT NURTURING NANNY NEEDED IN RAVENNA FOR IMAGINATIVE SIBLINGS
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our 1.5-year-old boy and his 5-year-old big sister who are both very social, happy, curious and somewhat strong-willed by nature. Our daughter will be starting distance-learning Kindergarten through our neighborhood school and will need assistance from her caregivers to succeed with this.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: Our son is a pretty typical 1.5 year old boy who likes fairly active play including trains, cars, playing with balls as well as baby dolls. He is also very loving with his family and loves snuggling with his big sister and caregivers. He does not have many words but is now developing more regularly and is able to communicate well despite his minimal speech. Our daughter is a very social kid who loves imaginative play with her friends or anyone who will participate. Despite being a clear extrovert, she also can entertain herself for hours in her room looking through books and listening to music or playing dolls on her own. Despite their age gap, our children truly get along well and love each other.
START DATE: 9/1-10/1, flexible for the right fit.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a nanny who is nurturing and fun-loving with our young kids and openly communicative and collaborative in working with us. We are generally playful and active parents and would appreciate a nanny who will also take this approach to caring for our kids. We recognize that this is a very intimate and unique working relationship and believe that keeping lines of communication completely open is essential in helping our nanny to succeed and be content and fulfilled in her position. We appreciate someone who values education themselves and will encourage curiosity in our kids and has a background that will help our daughter optimally participate in distance learning during COVID. A Spanish-speaking nanny is not our biggest priority at this point but this would be the icing on the cake. Additionally, we like our children to have a broad range of experiences so ideally they are out doing activities as much as possible.
OUR NANNY WILL BE: Our jobs can introduce last minute schedule changes that can result in either of the parents being delayed at the end of the day. Our hope is that our nanny can “roll with the punches” as they will be compensated for any overtime. Family laundry and family meal prep when time allows would be awesome!
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: A comfortable and fun place to live that is full of great places to play both inside and out. A place that we love and try to take good care of by keeping it fairly tidy despite the chaos inherent to having two young kids. A place where we enjoy creating and eating delicious meals together.
OUR FAMILY IS: Full of opinions, affection for one another, and full of laughter.
FAMILY THEME SONG: Depends on how the day is going!
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: To raise children who are caring, thoughtful, curious, and self-sufficient problem-solvers who know it’s okay to ask for help. We hope to create a home environment in which they feel loved and secure so that they feel comfortable trying new things and can find things they love and succeed with and learn from their mistakes.
RATE: $30-33
SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week, 4 days per week from 7:30 to 5:30. There is flexibility on which days the nanny works and some flexibility on exact hours. It would be ideal to have someone who is available on Mondays and Fridays.
BENEFITS: Family Vehicle Provided, Guaranteed Hours, PTO, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, Healthcare Stipend
REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, Driving Required, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.

FT NANNY NEEDED FOR IMAGINATIVE DREAMERS IN BRYANT
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Lego loving boy (7) and fairy princess girl (4) seek engaging and loving nanny for dynamic adventures in imaginary lands, from the swamps of the living room rug to the bug zoo of the backyard! Come on over to see amazing feats of engineering with small plastic blocks (yes, there’s a 3300+ piece Batmobile on display) and lots of Pokemon cards stuffed in folders, or journey to an imaginary fairy land where Anna and Elsa are mere bit players alongside Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Wonder Woman, and other female leads. Our family loves bonding with our caregivers and partnering together to make life awesome for everyone — not only our kids but their grown ups too. Our son will attend second grade online, and we will have a separate online tutor for him- our hope is that our nanny will help with some school support, but the primary focus will be play based.
START DATE: ASAP!
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: As a professional, we want them to be responsible, reliable, communicative, transparent, and self-aware about their strengths and opportunities. As a caregiver, we want them to be loving, engaged, energized, and adaptive to the kids’ needs. Compassion and empathy towards the challenges of being a young kid during this strange time are key! We would love help with child laundry/child focused tidying/meal prep and light cooking for the kids, though we are also engaged in the same activities to support our caregivers and our kids. We work hard to keep the house organized, not only for ourselves but also to keep a clean work/play space for the kids. We tend to take care of all the “family” work ourselves, though there may be some of our dishes in the sink that need to go into the dishwasher. We also dig into the laundry, cleaning, etc. ourselves. We are partners with the caregiver from start to finish.
OUR NANNY WILL BE: Someone who is able to really tap into both kids’ personalities, and lean into the things that the kids’ love most. They need someone who can get down on the floor or out on the street with them to play together at eye level, while also respecting that they need their own space during the day (and it helps to force the kids to figure out their own entertainment sometimes while other adult tasks need to be done). They’re well-behaved kids who communicate well, but we still deal with whining, arguments, and stuff like that, so patience for age-appropriate misbehavior is critical.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Clean, functional, spacious, and stuffed full of toys and kids activities. We are on the more cautious end of the spectrum in terms of Covid safety, and we would be most comfortable with a nanny who has the same mentality. Both parents are working from home in corporate jobs. We tend to stay out of the way as much as we can during the day, and we have two dedicated office spaces so we are able to separate from the kids and create space.
OUR FAMILY IS: We are organized, calm, and focused on being good to each other, but sometimes we’re just as messy and loud as many other houses with two young kids. We live in balance and strive to give each other the space to do what we want to do, like hustling the kids for a ferry trip to a local beach or giving them time just hanging out comfortably at home. We love having people in our kids’ lives who can tap into their interests and strengths, and draw out their best. In turn, we treat our caregivers with respect and appreciation for the hard work that they do.
FAMILY THEME SONG: “Happy” by Pharrell, one of few songs that usually draws a few dance moves and leaps from both kids.
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: We’d love for our kids to continue to blossom developmentally and grow intellectually even in these challenging circumstances. More importantly, we want to get our family and caregiver through the pandemic with our physical, mental, and emotional health intact. We need someone with a shared commitment to safety and public health, openness to acknowledge when times are good and hard, and willingness to be vulnerable about how we’re all feeling.
RATE: $30-33 DOE
SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8am – 5pm and Wednesday, Friday 8am – 2:30pm. We’re also open to other hourly arrangements.
BENEFITS: Family Vehicle Provided, Child Focused Position, Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, 2 weeks minimum PTO, Healthcare Stipend
REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT WILL BE: Someone who gets on the kids level and can get out and play with them. Encourages healthy habits for the family and puts safety first- driving, COVID outside the home, friends playdates, etc. We’re looking for someone to ensure our kids remain happy, healthy and safe. We would love to find someone smart, funny, creative who is a sports and animal lover. Someone who can be on time, clean and responsible.

FT NANNY/FUTURE FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED FOR BEST FRIEND SISTERS IN WINDERMERE
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Two sisters, ages 5 and 7, who also happen to be best friends with wild imaginations. They are enthusiastic, energetic, and adventurous, but also enjoy curling up with a good book. They love to play together and their imaginative games can go on for days. The oldest will be starting second grade with remote learning, and the youngest will be attending full-day pre-K.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: They love imaginative play, both indoors and outdoors. They love music, and they love to read. Our daughter in particular loves crafts.
START DATE: September 1st or ASAP!
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Someone who is warm, enthusiastic, and can who can help redirect them in a positive way when they get off track would be a good fit for our kids.
OUR NANNY WILL BE: Our partner in helping our kids grow and learn and will help nurture their natural curiosity, kindness, creativity, and love of learning. Someone who is patient, warm, positive, and engaging would be a good fit for our family. They will support our 2nd grader in her online learning, using the curriculum school sends home, and be organized enough to juggle online learning for our pre-K daughter if needed. If the nanny was willing to help with some laundry as time permits and unloading the dishwasher or groceries, that would be great, but it’s not a deal breaker. If/when the kids both went back to school, we would hope that the nanny could help us with some more household duties to help fill some of the time and help lighten the load on us parents a bit. This job is mostly focused on caring for and supporting the education of our children, but the parents are always super thankful for any other help the person is willing to contribute, particularly if/when time is available.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Welcoming and energetic. We love music. We are relatively organized and tidy, but not obsessively so. We usually like to get out and about on the weekends, but these days we are just grateful to have a comfortable home with a nice backyard in which to “stay home, stay safe.” Mom and Dad will be working from their home office, at least for a little while.
OUR FAMILY IS: Loving, adventurous, open-minded, and close knit. We love the water and the outdoors, and we enjoy sailing and skiing. We deeply value education and lifelong learning. When our kids asked us to establish a “family constitution,” we settled on 3 rules: 1) Be safe; 2) Be respectful; 3) Be kind. And our family may be expanding…to include a golden retriever puppy!
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: To raise kind, thoughtful, creative, young women who confidently speak their mind, aren’t afraid to try hard things, and never stop learning.
RATE: $29-30
PETS: Potential for a puppy this Fall!

BENEFITS: Nanny Vehicle Provided, Guaranteed Hours, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, Healthcare Stipend
REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.

FT EXPLORER NANNY NEEDED FOR OUTDOOR SCIENTISTS IN LAKE FOREST PARK
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: A 5 year old who has studied the arts of superhero ninjitsu and is an expert at jumping off of things. And then rescuing EVERYONE. The baby (14 months) will hide your socks. And then giggle about it.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: We love music and regularly have it playing during the day. I sing all the time and sometimes play guitar. We read a lot of poetry with our son. He loves the rhyming cadences and fun word play. He’s taking zoom reading classes from a family member. If Kindergarten through the district is mostly on the computer all day we plan to home school him. We don’t expect the nanny to be a primary teacher, but possibly to support activities we initiate. An experienced teacher is just a plus.
START DATE: ASAP!
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: There are definitely rules and boundaries, but there’s also a lot of room for give and take based on how people are feeling and what needs are biggest that day. We try to use compromise a lot rather than black and white rules. We want someone who can balance the warmth and playfulness with holding firm boundaries when the kids are pushing too far. Before Covid they were in a Montessori daycare and that was a great alignment with our philosophies. We’re being very careful about COVID and expect that of anyone we would hire. Caring for the kids is first, but other child-focused cleaning is definitely welcome if there’s time. Mostly I want our son to learn basic living skills (things he already has a basic facility with, but to practice) like dishes, sweeping, etc. Ways of engaging him in small tasks to teach independence, much like Montessori philosophy.
OUR NANNY WILL BE: Someone who keeps them safe but still lets them play hard. Playful and silly. Someone who helps encourages their curiosity and facilitates learning. Good communication with us and the kids. We would love someone who is always up for an adventure! He or she will love word play, singing, and being silly.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: 4 people who love to sing and dance and surround ourselves in nature. We talk about science at the dinner table and make up the words to songs as we go. We bought a house with 31 rhododendrons, 7 fruit trees, deer, bunnies, and lots of moles. I tell the kids that they should be nice to the animals because they live here too. The house is a little bit messy but well lived in and full of energy.
OUR FAMILY IS: Currently both parents are home almost every day. I hope to continue because I love being near the kids. Mom occasionally has a snack with them. We almost always have lunch with the whole family and nanny together. I also like being able to pop in and give the kids hugs or hear what exciting stuff they’re up to. They both separate very well so this isn’t causing distress so far.
FAMILY THEME SONG: Thriftshop (by Macklemore, censored version of course)
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: We’re trying to grow little people who are capable of taking care of themselves, understanding their feelings, and kind to the world. We empower the kids to learn mastery of age-appropriate tasks. We try to help them name and process their feelings. And we always want to teach them to be good citizens who care for the Earth and other people.
RATE: $28-30
SCHEDULE: 40-45 hours guaranteed, typically M-F 8-4, but that may change slightly if both parties agree.

FT TUTOR/NANNY NEEDED IN MEADOWBROOK FOR EASY GOING TWEENS/TEEN
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our soon to be 15-year-old (now a mini-adult) and our soon to be 12-year-old identical twin boys (you’ll quickly be able to tell them apart don’t worry). They’re great kids but need help getting their schoolwork and chores done.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: Our children all love soccer and participate whenever possible. All the kids love movies and Broadway musicals (lately Hamilton). Finally the kids are very big fans of our two Boston Terriers.
START DATE: 9/1, flexible for the right fit.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Great educational tutor, safe given our current virus environment, relaxed, low-key, tidy, fun, humorous, punctual, flexible, willing to do activities outside of the school environment like transport to activities. Have a safe car and be a good and responsible driver. A person who wants to be productive while low-key and fun would be ideal. We’d probably like it if they could help encourage the boys to get their own lunch, possibly monitoring to make sure it isn’t, for example, all Cheetos. Our daughter gets her own lunch entirely, but needs to be held accountable for cleanup. There could be some occasional dishes, but a very small amount – our preference would be to encourage the kids to do their own dishes, and hold them accountable. This job is child focused.
OUR TUTOR WILL BE: Since the kids are in the older range, we are really looking for a caregiving style that might be described as part-teacher/tutor and part-caregiver. A good portion of the day will be spent on ensuring success in their school assignments, with an emphasis on accountability to attending classes on time, understanding and tracking homework that needs to be completed, organizational skills, and academic tutoring and enrichment to make up the challenging remote learning model that we are facing into for the 2020-21 school year. Other parts of the day will be traditional caregiving, including helping with lunch and activities. It would also be very desirable to have help ensuring the kids get physical activities during the school day, and after school on occasion.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Our preference would be for minimal involvement, staying hands off much of the day. Our tutor/nanny is the professional during their time in the house. Both parents are working from home and are available to be interrupted for questions though, but would prefer to give our nanny autonomy in running the day. Rest assured that any interruptions can easily be accommodated – that wouldn’t be a problem at all.
OUR FAMILY IS: Low-key, funny, chatty, on-task usually when we’re supposed to be, spontaneous when we can afford to be. Our family doesn’t have many relatives in the area, and none that can help us with childcare, so we are going to value your services *very* highly.
FAMILY THEME SONG: What Comes Next? (the Hamilton ditty sung by the King George character). Why? The kids would like to form their own independent government sometimes, but we need to keep some reigns on them until they’re 18!
RATE: $30-32 DOE
PETS: We have two Boston Terriers, they add some levity to the day, and also provide opportunities for dog walking as an activity for the kids .
SCHEDULE: 40ish hours, depending on tutor’s preference. Schedule 9-5ish, depending on tutor’s preference as well. We’re flexible!
BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Year Contract, Sick Pay, Paid Federal Holidays, 2+ weeks PTO, Healthcare Stipend

OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: Foster a learning environment that is supportive of the kids social/emotional and academic strengths. We encourage the teacher to differentiate instruction as they see fit. The ideal teacher will meet the kids where they are at, help them meet benchmarks, and ensure our kids reach their potential.
