FT HOUSEHOLD MANAGER NEEDED IN MONTLAKE FOR SCHOOL-AGE SIBLINGS
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our highly active and creative 1st grader and equally active and inquisitive 3rd grader. They both love sports, playing outdoors, reading, doing arts and crafts, and frequently are making “concoctions” as kitchen science experiments.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: Both kids have a lot of energy so love being outside, playing sports and going on adventures. They don’t watch TV except on long trips or Friday night movie nights so they have creative imaginations. They can often be found engaged in elaborate storylines, building Legos, etc. They both also love to read. We are entering into a phase where it’s sometimes hard to get them to put their books away.
START DATE: 9/2/19
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Someone that treats them with respect and uses logic and reasoning vs being authoritarian. Someone who is comfortable balancing household management (meal prep, cooking, family laundry, general house tidying) with childcare.
OUR NANNY MUST BE: An extension of our family. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy household, loves to be active and is caring, nurturing and a strong communicator. Someone who is organized, proactive and able to problem solve will fit in well. The ability to be flexible on scheduling is also important given the kids sports schedule.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Mom and two kids. We’re fun loving and always up for an adventure especially if it involves being active or outdoors. In our downtime, you can always find us curled up with a good book.
OUR FAMILY IS: Full of activity and always on the go. My sister and her kids live two blocks away and we embody the saying “it takes a village.” We often have dinner together and the kids and their cousins all think of each other as siblings. I like to think our household is clean and organized but some days that is more an aspiration than a reality.
FAMILY THEME SONG: Whatever their teenage cousins have introduced them to. You can always find the kids saying “Alexa play….”
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: That the kids feel loved, happy, well supported and cared for.
RATE: $25-28 an hour.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week. Each week will be slightly different depending on the kids sports schedule and my work schedule. In general they would be M-F 10-7 or 11-8. Typically I tried to build a calendar with the hours for the month at the beginning of the month.
BENEFITS: Paid Federal Holidays, PTO, Paid Sick Days, Family Car provided, Healthcare Stipend Negotiable
REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.

Lastly, we would appreciate a caregiver who is willing to work within our parenting philosophy while also incorporating their own experience.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Busy due to the demands of our work schedules. We try to create a welcoming/relaxed space for decompressing at the end of the day – whatever time that may be.

PT FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN SNOHOMISH FOR ENERGETIC SILLY SISTERS
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our happy energetic preschool girl and our sweet cuddly 9 month old girl. Our eldest attends preschool in the morning/afternoon so care will be primarily for her baby sister.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: Our preschooler loves playing outside, anything with sticks and rocks, occasionally like to draw and color and lots of playing pretend. Everything is turned into families (Mama this, Daddy that, baby other thing). She’s really great at focusing on what is in front of her as long as she gets to choose what that is. Her baby sister loves singing and music.
START DATE: 9/2/19
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Someone who is energetic, playful and caring – ready to make silly faces with the baby and play silly games with the toddler! Someone who can help keep the house tidy and is proactive, communicative and professional.
OUR NANNY MUST BE: Energetic! Keeping up with a preschooler constantly on the run, a baby who just learned to crawl and dinner can be a challenge! Playful! My husband and I love playing with our kids, but imagination games where leaves/cars/horses talk to each other constantly just isn’t our strong suit. We would love someone who loves to play with them. That said, about half the day will be with just the baby, so someone who is happy hanging with a 9 month old, balancing that with light tidying, is also important. Safety minded! We’re doing our best not to cocoon our kids (especially the preschooler), but in general keeping an eye out for risks and hazards is important! Detail oriented!
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Cheerful and relaxed. We like to get things done, but we don’t stress about any of it!
OUR FAMILY IS: Mom, Dad, our girls and our incredibly energetic boston terrier.
FAMILY THEME SONG: Girls just want to have fun! Our dad is outnumbered because even our dog is a girl!
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: Keeping our home happy and fed! Playtime, downtime, dinnertime, whatever time, we see you as a team member working with us to get everyone happily through the day!
RATE: $23-26 DOE

BENEFITS: Paid Sick Pay, Guaranteed Hours, Paid Holidays
REQUIREMENTS: Professional Nanny experience, CPR/FA certs, pristine background, driver’s license and clean driving record, 3 glowing childcare references, 21+ years old, no accompanying children.

PT AFTER SCHOOL CARE NEEDED FOR BOYS IN WALLINGFORD (3 days a week!)

FULL TIME NANNY NEEDED FOR ANIMATED BOY AND BABY BROTHER IN MAGNOLIA
WHO YOU’LL CARE FOR: Our vivacious 3 year old son and his teeny tiny baby brother.
OUR CHILDREN ARE: Very excited about the world! Our oldest son loves exploring parks, digging around in the dirt and making outrageous demands. He’s a huge fan of adults who interact with him and play on his level, animals of all shapes and sizes but he’s not the biggest fan of bananas. Our youngest is a little young to have strong feelings either way but seems to like baths and dislike diaper changing.
START DATE: 5/13 (flexible for the right fit)
WE’RE LOOKING FOR: We would like someone who can keep up with a 3 year old! Also, someone who can be super nurturing to a tiny little baby at the same time – a truly unique skill set. Someone who can quickly absorb the nuances of our family – our schedules, needs, likes/dislikes of the kids – and adapt to our routine.
OUR NANNY MUST BE: Someone who adores our children almost as much as we do, and can summon both energy and patience perhaps even better than we do. Ideally, our nanny would be able to understand that our lives are a little unpredictable and can flex with us accordingly. We don’t work 9-5 jobs, so our need for childcare will reflect that reality (we always give as much notice as possible – typically not less than two weeks – when OT is needed). Our nanny will be someone who arrives with a smile (even if it’s a slightly groggy one at 7am), and is very reliable.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: A little island in Seattle. We don’t have family nearby, so we really look to a nanny to be a part of our care team and our family. I think most people who meet us would consider us to be a really nice family (I hope!). We take the care of our children incredibly seriously, of course, but we also try not to have any expectations that are unreasonable or unfair.
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS: To be as positive and nurturing as possible in all instances. Safety is our top priority. Beyond that, our goals are to make sure that our children get the most out of these formative days/months/years where they absorb everything to which they are exposed, including language, music, behavior, etc. Our goal for our eldest is to have a smooth transition to a somewhat more independent situation where he is out of the house for several hours a day. For our baby, our goal is to have a positive and comfortable experience for his first year.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week guaranteed, 7am to 3pm M-F, with some flexibility to pick up a few hours of OT when dad is out of town.

He has learned to ask for help, and trusts that help will be readily available when asked (and at times he may need to be reminded that help is available when frustration takes completely over).

WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Someone who is active outdoors rain or shine, can keep up with an energetic, playful boy, come up with fun and safe activities. Also understanding and meticulous about hand washing, attentive to food handling and watching for any possible contact with our son’s allergens. This person will focus on his needs, growth, and development, while also is confident she can be calm and take appropriate action in the case of an emergency.

Comes up with new ideas and activities and is willing to drive/walk our son to parks or play places in order to ensure he gets exercise and socialize. Reliable, communicative, transparent, attentive, patient, flexible, engaging, playful, calm/unruffled, experienced, caring, gentle. Preference for nanny to be familiar with positive parenting style and techniques.
OUR HOUSEHOLD IS: Set up for our son to play and have fun in nearly every room. Parents may come and go throughout the day (we work from home when we can, but sometimes are gone for much of the day depending on the week), so schedules change often. Sometimes the toys get a bit cluttered, so help in this area only if time allows would be appreciated.
OUR CHILDCARE GOALS ARE: Safety is our number one priority, especially when it comes to anything surrounding food and our son’s allergies. We would prefer a nanny with education/knowledge of childhood development and can come up with age appropriate activities. It is important that our son eat healthy, balanced meals, and get exercise each day (assuming he’s feeling well). Bonus if the nanny is music oriented.
SCHEDULE: 30 hrs/week guaranteed (M-F 7-5), and if the nanny is able and willing, more hours could become available (ie: staying longer on M,W,F, or coming on a T, TH if grandma can’t make it). Would be nice if our Nanny had some flexibility to start a bit later on some days (like 7:30-5:30), or possibly work until 6. But this would only be if nanny is willing and available.
