SUPPORT OUR ANNUAL BOOK DRIVE

Page Ahead strives to improve the reading and language skills of at-risk children in our region. Page Ahead collaborates with local elementary schools, tutoring programs, tribal libraries, migrant centers, homeless shelters, teen parenting programs, and preschool programs such as Head Start.

Page Ahead operates on one simple and astounding fact: being read to as a child is the foremost predictor of academic success in childhood. If a child can read at grade level by 3rd grade, they will continue to read at grade level throughout their academic career. A child who succeeds in school is more likely to thrive beyond graduation. Succeeding begins with reading!

Each year, our goal is to provide 100 new books to Page Ahead. These books will be distributed to children across Puget Sound, fostering a lifelong love of reading. The book drive runs annually from May to June.
