FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN ALKI BEACH – FLEX START!
OUR FAMILY: Built on a foundation of trust and honesty, we believe in feeling supported and loved, no matter what! We value discourse and deep conversations, but respect and kindness above all. Our daughter, the arts & crafts director, is a smiley and energetic 6-year-old that is ALWAYS moving. Even from infancy, she has always been amenable and understanding, and very flexible. She has a maternal and loving personality, and thrives on being a “helper” around the house. Our son, age 7, is the creative director in the home. He has the greatest imagination, and is often in a land all his own. He is very literal, and loves to read and explore different adventures in his mind. He is more quiet and reserved, and needs more encouragement to try new things.
OUR HOME: Often loud, sometimes chaotic, but most importantly, a place where everyone is welcome and we value everyone’s feelings. Dad works from home in a separate working space and will be unavailable through the day. Mom works long, sporadic hours in healthcare and may be home sleeping.

OUR SONG: B-A-N-A-N-A-S by Gwen Stefani.
OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Someone with a calm but enthusiastic nature, and has appropriate expectations of the children. Our new family member will have an understanding of sensory processing disorders, and encourage rather than punish. They will love the children as they are, and want to foster their independence and exploration. We are also looking for help with following routine as outlined by parents, family errands, age-appropriate activities, transportation, outings to parks, classes, playdates, meal preparation, tidying common areas and organization projects as time allows and when kids are in school.
START DATE: ASAP, very flexible for the right fit.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed, Monday through Friday 11am-7pm. We are hoping to find a candidate that has some flexibility and can occasionally shift hours/days- this is not a deal breaker though!

FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN RAINIER BEACH – FEBRUARY START!
OUR FAMILY: Our family is loving, gentle, and kind at our core. We aim to create a cozy, supportive home where everyone feels safe being themselves, even when that includes moments of shyness, awkwardness, or big feelings. We have a playful side and a slightly silly sense of humor, with a shared appreciation for the absurd and the ability to laugh at ourselves. Our sons are 6 and 9-years-old, they attend school together and also enjoy extracurricular activities. Our six-year old is energetic, expressive, and vigorously creative, with a wide emotional and physical range- he loves doing art projects and jumps from activity to activity with enthusiasm and zest! Our 9-year-old is a kind spirit. He genuinely wants to do right by others and to feel like a contributing member of the community. He especially enjoys helping teachers or other authority figures, and once he gets started, he can be very capable and engaged.
OUR HOME: Our home is a lived-in, active space. We are hoping to find help setting up systems and getting everything organized. At the same time, it is very much a sanctuary for our family and a safe place to rest, play, and process feelings. We have a large backyard with cedar trees, bamboo, planter beds, and a grassy area for running and active play. In addition, we have a backyard studio with heat and air conditioning that we use for more involved creative work, such as candle making, clay and pottery projects, and weaving. Dad works from home but will be generally focused on work in a home office. He will be available for questions or help if needed though!
OUR GOALS: Our primary goal is for our children to feel genuinely seen, supported, and cared for by another trusted adult. We value a relationship built on consistency, warmth, and mutual respect. We are looking for someone who can support our children through daily tasks and rhythms such as homework time, music practice, and transitions, while also bringing fun, engaging activities and occasional new adventures into their days. An additional goal is support with core household fundamentals, helping keep things running smoothly so that we can be more present with our children and less overwhelmed by the accumulation of daily tasks.
OUR SONG: The Wallace & Gromit theme song.
OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Will be gentle and kind, with a steady, grounded presence. Our children attend a Waldorf school, and we are especially drawn to caregivers who feel aligned with Waldorf education or similar child-centered approaches. We value storytelling, artistic and hands-on work, and caregivers who are sensitive to big feelings, emotional development, and sensory needs.
We are seeking a Family Assistant who sees this role as relational and collaborative. Someone who takes initiative, communicates openly, and understands that care extends beyond supervision into connection, trust, and shared responsibility. Role will include following routine as outlined by parents, family errands, family laundry, age-appropriate activities, transportation from school, outings to parks, classes, playdates, grocery shopping, scheduling appointments, meal preparation, tidy common areas, calendar management and organization projects. FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN MONTLAKE – ASAP START!
OUR FAMILY: Is a close-knit family of three living in a house governed by two feline overlords. We are expanding at the end of February with the arrival of a new baby sister. We value a collaborative environment and are looking for a long-term partner to grow with our family. Initially, care will be for a curious and energetic 2.5-year-old girl. This role is unique as it begins with primary care for our toddler while the parents care for a newborn arriving in late February. Around the six-month mark, the toddler will transition to daycare, and your focus will shift entirely to primary care for the infant. You will only be responsible for one child at a time.
OUR HOME: Our home is a sanctuary where we prioritize healthy living and pragmatic choices. Both parents work from home in dedicated offices; we are committed to giving you the space you need to establish your own rhythm and bond with the child. We prioritize healthy living and balanced meals. While we do not expect the caregiver to handle cooking, we ask for support in maintaining these healthy habits and following established routines that align with developmental best practices. We focus on fostering grit, curiosity, and independence. We believe in meeting the child where they are while providing the structure they need to build resilience. We value a caregiver who can maintain a calm, steady presence during the inevitable ups and downs of toddlerhood and infancy.
OUR GOALS: To navigate the transition from one child to two while following best practices regarding child development. We aim to foster independence and resilience, helping our children feel capable and confident as they explore the world. We want a partner who is well-versed in developmental milestones and excited to implement age-appropriate activities!
OUR SONG: “Everybody Poops” by Tawnee Kendall Kids!

We would also love help with children’s laundry, dishes, clothes and toy organization. FT NANNY NEEDED IN RAVENNA – JANUARY START
OUR FAMILY: We are a very close knit family- Mom, Dad and our two wonderful kids. Our daughter is 5 and our son is almost 3. We are fully biased, but the kids are both sweet, thoughtful and fun kids each with their own personality and style. They are special to us, and we’re looking for someone special to help continue their growth! Our daughter is inquisitive, thoughtful and caring. Our son is incredibly sweet, sensitive and loving, always excited for an adventure or to learn something new. Our daughter attends kindergarten and has been loving that experience. Our son loves to find adventures at home, at the park or with some extracurriculars such as little gym, swim lessons, etc.
OUR HOME: Is a safe, organized and loving home. We absolutely love our home and our neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of kids and is super walkable. We are in very close range of multiple parks and yummy places to eat. Plenty of adventures to be had around us!
We also hope that our home is a place of collaboration and care for our nanny as well – we want to make sure our nanny has what they need to feel comfortable and be successful in their role! We have a bernedoodle (hypoallergenic) who is a pretty calm / lazy dog. She stays with Dad (working from home in the basement) during the day – she spends most of the day sleeping. The kids love our dog and she is very gentle with them (though she does occasionally steal their food).
OUR GOALS: We are looking for a nanny who is caring, loving, thoughtful and safe with our kids. First and foremost – we want to find someone who will love the kids and build a lasting relationship with them. Safety and thoughtfulness go hand in hand – we want to leave our kids with someone who we know will be careful and thoughtful taking care of them. We want someone who can help our kids have fun! We love trips to the park, zoo or experiencing different adventures – the more creative the better. We’re also looking for a nanny who can help our kids through their developmental / age milestones (such as potty training, transitions at school, etc.). We want someone committed to our family, looking to provide long term support. Lastly, we’re looking for someone who wants to partner with us as as parents to create the best possible environment – it’s incredibly important to us to create an environment that is beneficial to our kids, but also welcoming to our nanny. We’re in this together!
OUR SONG: Anything Taylor Swift (Lover, Ready For it, Opalite, You Need to Calm Down…Honestly pick whatever Era you’d like and we can cover it). Our daughter can quote most songs (seriously, it’s a surprising amount for a five year old) and our son is a very capable backup singer/ dancer. Our personal fav is the call for “let me…see your…hands!” followed by some excellent synchronized dancing. Disney is also a good backup!
OUR NANNY: Will be a true partner for us as parents, and someone who will provide ongoing love, support, safety and care for our children. The role will be child-focused and we would love help with daily kindergarten drop-off/pick-up, packing school lunches, child laundry and helping our kids tidy up. We value creativity, collaboration, consistency and communication with our nanny.

SCHEDULE: 42.5 hours guaranteed, M-F 7:30am-4 pm.
