FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN GREENWOOD - JULY START!

OUR FAMILY: We are a close-knit family of three, two working parents and our sweet new baby boy. As first-time parents, we are navigating the beautiful (and busy) transition into life with our son and are looking for a reliable, caring nanny to join our team. Our son will be six-months-old at the beginning of employment and so far is smiley and currently focused on trying to fit his whole fist into his mouth!

OUR HOME: We live in a spacious, welcoming home with fantastic neighbors and a park and playground literally at the end of our block. We are currently in the process of turning our basement bedroom into a dedicated playroom, while still maintaining a cozy play area on the main level so there’s always space for discovery. Both parents work from home in separate offices, so we’re around if needed but tucked away to let you do your thing! We’re also just a few blocks from downtown Greenwood, making stroller outings for coffee or treats a breeze. We value a tidy home and do our best to keep it organized, but we’re a busy family and the "real life" of a baby occasionally wins, we appreciate someone who can roll with the punches (and the stray toys) with us!

OUR GOALS: Our primary goal is to nurture a happy, curious, and easy-going little boy. We believe in providing a 'yes' environment where he can safely explore the world hands-on, whether that’s feeling the grass at the park or experimenting with new textures during sensory play. We’re looking for a partner who will facilitate his natural development by encouraging him to master new skills at his own pace, fostering a sense of confidence and wonder in everything he does.

OUR SONG: “Get Out The Map” - Indigo Girls

OUR NANNY: Will be a vital part of our son's development and hopefully also his buddy! We are seeking a caregiver who is not only warm and patient but deeply attuned to the subtle language of infant cues. Our ideal match is someone who views childcare as a craft, proactively designing age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support motor skills. As we transition back to working from home full-time, we’re looking for a dedicated partner who can provide focused, one-on-one engagement, acting as a seamless extension of our family while we are in our respective offices.

FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED IN SAMMAMISH

OUR FAMILY: We’re a fun-loving bunch of 6 who enjoy getting outdoors, hanging out, and traveling together when possible. Our crew consists of Mom and Dad, both working professionals, a bright and spirited 3‑year‑old toddler, a baby who is almost 1-year-old, and our two wonderful older kids (15 and 12) who are with us every other week (no care needed for them). You’ll be spending your time with our toddler and baby. Our toddler is a total ray of sunshine, outgoing personality, and constantly curious. She loves books, imaginative play, arts and crafts, music, and exploring the world around her. She’s always eager to experiment or learn something new and thrives with structure balanced by creativity and fun. Our baby is a total joy; full of smiles, sweet, and observant. She is right in the middle of exciting milestone development; learning to take her first steps and speak her first words. She enjoys cruising around and exploring the house or taking in the world around her. At the heart of it all, we’re a close‑knit, fun‑loving family who enjoys family dinners, checking in with each other, and dreaming up our next big, or small, adventure.

OUR HOME: Generally neat and tidy, though that doesn’t always apply to the kids’ rooms as they have their own definition of “clean.” We are fairly organized and tend to keep a stocked fridge and pantry unless we miss our weekly grocery run. Mom and Dad both work from home in separate office spaces but may pop in to say hi or grab a snack when it’s not distracting.  We have two hypoallergenic dogs.  They are sweet pups who spend their days at our feet or searching for anything yummy the kids might have dropped on the ground.

OUR GOALS: The older kids are largely independent, so we are looking for a caring, loving, experienced nanny to support our toddler and baby. We want this person to spend their days nurturing both children’s developmental milestones. Someone who can help our toddler grow in confidence, creativity, patience, and independence, while supporting our baby’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development.

During the summer, care will be full time for both children. During the school year, care will focus on the baby and the toddler part time when she is not in preschool. We are looking for someone who can make a long‑term commitment, grow with our family, and truly become a trusted part of our children’s lives.

OUR SONG: “Boogie Shoes” by KC & The Sunshine Band

OUR NANNY: Will be fun, creative, safe, responsible, intuitive, patient, attentive, energetic, and a great communicator. You’ll be able to shift seamlessly between being a playful, engaging presence for our toddler and a knowledgeable, nurturing caregiver supporting our baby through key developmental milestones. We would love to find someone with a background in teaching, child development, or extensive hands-on experience with young children. High energy, emotional intelligence, flexibility with scheduling, and clear communication are all important to us. We would also love someone who enjoys preparing healthy, age‑appropriate meals and snacks for the little ones.

START DATE: ASAP!

SCHEDULE: 40-45 hours guaranteed, M-F 8am-5pm, with some flexibility in the 4-5pm window if needed.

HOURLY RATE: $38 an hour.

BENEFITS: Guaranteed Hours, Child-Focused Role, Sick Pay, 8 Paid Federal Holidays, 10 days PTO, Mileage Reimbursement.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: 3+ years of recent professional nanny experience with similar ages.
  • References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous long-term employers in a similar role.
  • Background: Spotless criminal history and identity verification.
  • Safety: CPR & First Aid certified or willing to complete before hire.
  • Commitment: Ability to commit to the family’s timeline.
  • Local: Residence in the Greater Seattle Area.

FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN MONTLAKE – PENDING

OUR FAMILY: We are a new family of 5, with two boys aged 6 and 9, and our new baby daughter! (Family of 6, if you count our veteran 13-year-old Tuxedo cat.) We’re a busy crew, with lots of activities through the week and weekends. The boys have a rotating schedule of swimming, tennis, and various activities during the week. On the weekends, we have a Minecraft morning, sometimes games in the afternoon (they’re into board games, Pokémon, Dungeons and Dragons), birthdays and more swimming! Our daughter is 3-months-old and we are excited to see her personality as it develops.

OUR HOME: We live in a cosy house in Montlake, near lots of family. We have a big basement playroom full of Legos, board games, balls and bats, and recently an enormous cardboard fort. We believe the most important development tool is just appreciating our kids for who they are. That said, we also believe in firm and fair boundaries, natural consequences, and consistent rules. Currently, mom is on parental leave and looking for help with the main priority being the boys and occasional infant care. After parental leave, parents will be working from home but will be in dedicated working spaces and occupied.

OUR GOALS: During the early day, we would love someone to help us care for our new baby daughter. Later in the day, we could use help with our older boys, shuttling them between activities and feeding them.

OUR SONG: “Lava Chicken” by Jack Black.

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: Will be caring, playful, and organized. Someone who has experience with both newborns and older-aged children. We are looking for a caregiver who can help with infant care during the afternoon and switch to school pick-up and older kid-focused activities and care. We would also love help with children’s laundry, cooking, clothes and toy organization. As time allows, we may ask for limited assistance with tasks such as food prep. We are hoping to find a caregiver who stays with us long-term. We have had long-term, multi-year connections with caregivers and value your help!

START DATE: ASAP, flexible for the right fit.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed. Monday through Friday 11am-7pm during the school year, 9am-5pm during the summer.
