PROFESSIONAL NANNY NEEDED IN OLYMPIA (COUGAR RIDGE)

OUR FAMILY: Trying to find our new groove! We are brand new parents getting to know our daughter. Her personality is beginning to show already and she will certainly be a very silly girl! We spent the last 11 years as devoted “fur parents” and all six of us [2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 parents] are now learning what the newest member is all about. She is mostly all about eating, pooping, and napping, if you’re wondering. We are a very easy-going, routine, and warm family. We enjoy taking our dogs, and now baby girl out on the local trails and getting together with friends. We equally enjoy staying in and tending to our backyard or being couch potatoes every once in a while.  

OUR HOME: Located in the truly peaceful Cougar Ridge neighborhood and was built by us in 2021. The home has a spacious living/kitchen area and a large bonus/play room on the second floor. The backyard is great any time of the year with both covered and uncovered patio, a large lawn, and about an acre more of natural forest area to explore. 

OUR GOALS: To find a trustworthy, reliable, and experienced caregiver who may spend working hours with our baby girl.

OUR NANNY: Our ideal caregiver is educated and eager to help us carry out age-appropriate learning/experiences with her to ensure she meets milestones and remains a very happy, healthy girl. As first-time parents, we are sponges to helpful tips/tricks, and we would all three enjoy a caregiver who isn’t afraid to offer their expertise. We would love someone who enjoys planning and supervising fun and creative activities with our girl as she grows. Our ideal caregiver is open-minded, passionate about childcare, and looking for a committed position in our family – one where we all grow together and have fun doing it! 

START DATE: 11/03/2025, flexible for the right fit. 

SCHEDULE: We can be flexible for the right long-term fit. Choose your schedule between 16-40 hours guaranteed. This can range anywhere between 2-5 days a week, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 6am-2:30pm. 

HOURLY RATE: $35-38 per hour.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Experience: 3+ years of recent professional nanny or family assistant experience with similar ages.
• References: Stellar feedback from at least 3 previous long-term employers in a similar role. 
• Background: Spotless criminal history and identity verification.
• Safety: CPR & First Aid certified or willing to complete before hire.
• Commitment: Ability to commit to the family’s timeline.
• Local: Residence in the Greater Olympia Area.
• Payroll: Comfortable with W2 employment and payroll processing.
• Driving: Valid driver’s license, safe and insured vehicle.
• Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Communication: Prompt and professional communication skills. 
• Enthusiasm: Genuine love for children and families.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in dynamic family environments.

FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT NEEDED IN BELLEVUE

OUR FAMILY: Is loving, energetic, kind, gentle, and patient. We have two boys, our wild-hearted dragon (3.5 years old) and his small, gentle yet fiercely brave tiger sidekick (2.5 years old). Our boys attend preschool Monday through Friday until 3pm daily. They delight in open-ended play, but love having an adult nearby to join or guide- whether it’s running free in the park, splashing in the backyard water and sand pit, or dancing to their favorite tunes. Both kids love flipping pages in books and calling out animals and objects. They also love lollipops!

OUR HOME: A remodeled mid-century rambler located in the peaceful Enatai neighborhood of Bellevue. The spacious living room serves as the main play area, complemented by a large backyard for outdoor activities. Surrey Downs Park is conveniently just blocks away. We maintain a tidy home and have daily housekeeping during the day to ensure everything stays clean and organized. Mom will be home but working remotely. 

OUR GOALS: We are looking for a caregiver who can deeply engage with the kids. The primary responsibility, focusing on their communication and nutrition. We are also hoping the care is educational to help them as they transition to pre-school. We aim to raise independent thinkers, open communicators, and imaginative creators.

OUR FAMILY ASSISTANT: We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and is passionate about their well-being. A caregiver who is gentle, kind, and can handle situations with patience and a calm demeanor. Someone energetic and able to chase after two young children! We are also looking for a candidate who is looking for an ideally multi-year fit and values open communication with both children and parents. If you have any hobbies or interests such as music, outdoor activity, or arts and crafts, we would love to have our kiddos learn from you! A degree in Early Childhood Education or a strong education-based background is preferred. Help with light family errands, meal prep/cooking, grocery shopping, and home organization while the kids are in school would be immensely helpful!

START DATE: September 15th, slightly flexible for the right fit. 

SCHEDULE: 35-40 hours guaranteed, M-F 12pm-7pm being the core hours needed.

HOURLY RATE: $36-38 per hour.

BENEFITS: Family Vehicle Provided, Guaranteed Hours, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, Paid Vacation, $200 Monthly Healthcare Stipend.
